Japanese singer-songwriter Sayuri has died at the age of 28 after battling a chronic illness, as announced by her husband Amaarashi on social media. Known for her anime theme songs, she had recently taken a hiatus due to functional dysphonia. A private funeral was held in accordance with her family's wishes.
