Filmmaker Vinta Nanda has publicly criticized director Imtiaz Ali for his recent remarks about the safety of women in the Mumbai film industry. Ali, speaking at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), cited Kareena Kapoor's comfort on the set of "Jab We Met" as evidence of a safe environment. Nanda, known for her work on the series "White Noise," took to Instagram, arguing that Kapoor's experience as a privileged actress doesn't reflect the reality for many women in the industry.
