The importance of having a weekend dedicated to those who have lost their lives in the line of duty is so that they are not forgotten.

This past week city hall also paid its respects by lighting red lights to honor those who have died.

The national fallen firefighters foundation provides programs to support families who have lost loved ones.

I spoke to a rochester firefighter who has advice for anyone dealing with grief.
