"* the district says there have been 86 positive cases of coronavirus since early july..

And that's resulted in around 200 students and staff being quarantined since then.

"* the district announced that it will be keeping its current distance learning policies in place.

That means most elementary students and lincoln k?

"*8th graders are getting two days of in person and three days of distance learning with most 6th through 12th graders doing virtual learning only.

Principal mike munoz says it was a difficult decision but the right one for the district..

However he says the goal is to get we have to work together in this.

If we want to bring students back in school we have to wear masks, we have to keep social distancing, when we start doing those things that data is going to go down and allow us to get students back in the classrooms. the district says it's prepping the phase two registration process for critical workers at john adams and will begin accepting registrations on tuesday the 20th for care that starts in november.
