Lexington police are still investigating a bizarre and dangerous crime that happened in broad daylight at a busy spot on tates creek road.

Police say around four sunday afternoon...47-year old robert solomon...who they say is a convicted felon...crashed his car into a church at tates creek and old mount tabor...ran into a gas station across the street with a gun...came back outside and just started shooting.

Police say no people were hit, but one car was.
