John Perumbalath is a bishop in the Church of England who has served as Bishop of Liverpool since 2023. He had previously served as Archdeacon of Barking (2013–2018) and the area Bishop of Bradwell (2018–2023), both in the Diocese of Chelmsford. In January 2025, he was accused by two women of sexual assault and harassment, and he subsequently announced that he would be stepping down as Bishop of Liverpool.
