
Holyhead port damaged before Storm Darragh peaked

Storm Darragh was a powerful extratropical cyclone which severely impacted Ireland and the United Kingdom in December 2024. The fourth named storm of the 2024–25 European windstorm season, Darragh was named by the UK Met Office on 5 December 2024.
