The MX-5 roadster and retractable fastback have been hit with a massive recall stateside, comprising 77,670 units of the lightweight sports car. According to the Hiroshima-based automaker, the sophisticated airbag sensor (SAS) control module features iffy software that may result in excessive airbag deployment force in the event of a crash.
