The Feature Most Android Auto Users Didn't Get Is Gone for Everybody

There was a time when Android Auto had a weather widget, and everybody loved this approach. Seeing the current temperature and conditions when launching the app was extremely convenient, but Google came up with an even better approach. The Android Auto refresh introduced in 2019 tweaked this approach, and instead of a weather widget, the app received a weather icon in the status bar at the top of the screen. It still made sense.
