Germany suspends Nord Stream 2 pipeline as gas prices jump

Germany’s regulator has “temporarily suspended” the certification of the long-awaited and highly controversial Nord Stream 2 pipeline. The Bundesnetzagentur has said the Kremlin-backed gas project failed to organise an operator recognised under German law.
