London markets mixed as investors mull next steps in Russia-Ukraine saga

London markets were mixed this morning as investors mulled the latest developments in the Russia-Ukraine saga. The capital’s premier FTSE 100 index dropped 0.44 per cent to 7,570.10 points, while the domestically-focused FTSE 250 index, which is more aligned with the health of the UK economy, added 0.23 per cent to hit 21,902.68 points.
