One dead, several injured after fire at Tyson Foods plant

Tyson Foods said Friday that one person is dead and several others are injured after an overnight fire at its plant in Camilla, Georgia. Tyson said it was working with local authorities to determine the cause of the fire. The Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union, which represents 1,600 workers at the plant, said Friday that the fire was caused by a boiler explosion. Tyson said it extended its deepest condolences to family and friends of the victims. The plant is the largest employer in Mitchell County.
