But now that he’s back in the White House, Trump appears to be seeking a more nuanced relationship with the country that both Republicans and Democrats have come to see as the gravest foreign policy challenge to the U.S. Trump seems to be showing restraint and bowing to a more complicated reality than he described while running for office.
