Go-Ahead 'on track'

Public transport company Go-Ahead Group said it remains on track to hit first-half profit targets and has not changed expectations for the full year.

It added its bus arm continues to do well, with first-half operating profit set to be slightly ahead of the £31.4m total in the same period last year.

Go-Ahead said it expects the sale of most of its aviation operations to be completed by the end of January 2010.
