*Wiley's* MBE is seemingly under review, according to reports.

The grime godfather was banned from multiple social media platforms following a series of anti-semitic rants, which caused widespread revulsion.

The Campaign Against Antisemitism spoke out, and then sent a strongly worded message to the Chairman of the Cabinet Office’s Honours Forfeiture Committee.

Asking the committee to look into Wiley's MBE award, the case is seemingly going to be looked into.

CAA have offered an update, stating that the Honours and Appointments Secretariat has advised that the Honours Forfeiture Committee "is able to consider cases for a variety of reasons", including "being found guilty of a criminal offence" and "behaviour that is deemed to bring the honours system into disrepute".

The campaign group went on to confirm that "the Committee is acting on Campaign Against Antisemitism’s representations and has opened a case."

Wiley's MBE was the subject of controversy during his rants - the rapper claimed that the award belonged to former manager John Woolf, and that he didn't want the MBE due to his objections to colonial era crimes. For his part, Woolf insisted that the medal had been framed, and he was waiting for Wiley to come and collect it.
