Selfridges is set to launch a new *Factory Records* range.
The Manchester label's legacy is being celebrated with an exhibition in its home city, featuring rare artefacts, photography, and more.
Famed for its holistic approach to creativity - everything from seminal albums to founder Tony Wilson's own coffin was given a Factory catalogue number - this is reflected in the exhibition.
Timed to launch alongside, Warner Music Artist Services teamed with Selfridges on a new Factory Records range.
Out now, the range finds the luxury outlet collaborating with high-end fashion designers and homeware partners (Palm Angels, Softcore, Raf Simons, Stain Shade, Bang & Olufsen, Cedar Lifestyle, MJB and Umbro).
Items include clothing, 'Unknown Pleasures' scented candles, speakers, and more.
Sophie Bishop, Director of Retail Merchandise A&R says: “The collaboration with Selfridges is a celebration of the history of music and culture. The Factory Records project will engage with current fans, whilst introducing the label, Joy Division and New Order to a younger demographic”.
