*Vans* have been a solid staple in the CLASH closets since the dawns of time. We will forever reminisce fondly on the unforgettable night we hosted at *House Of Vans London* for *CLASH's 15th Anniversary Spring Party*.
During the last 18 months of pandemic we have particularly applauded* Vans* ongoing endeavors to support the communities that orbit the brand. Giving something back to the scenes around them remains a core and instrinsic part of the *Vans *family DNA.
Today we are therefore very happy to announce this years launch of the *Vans 'Musicians Wanted'* *contest*, the news couldn't have landed at a better moment for the music world.
The contest has fast become a key date in our calendar marked with fever pitch excitement as this presents a very real opportunity to provide a new rising star with a pathway to greatness.
Celebrating fresh, new and "off the wall" talent spanning all genres. Last years winners had the opportunity of a lifetime, including sharing the stage with global superstar *Anderson .Paak. *With over 22,000 submissions last year, this is undoubtedly one of the biggest new music contests on the planet.

For 2021, participating regions will provide undiscovered artists the opportunity to gain international exposure and a chance to share the stage with genre-bending British rocker, *YUNGBLUD*. Additional prizes also include Vans product, *Fender* gear, a premium *TuneCore* prize pack, global music distribution, *AppleMusic* & *Spotify* playlisting and more. Quite the haul!
A diverse cast of judges will be joining the brand for the selection process including multitalented rapper, writer and comic book artist *Denzel Curry,* Grammy nominated pop singer and songwriter* Julia Michaels, *creative* *visionary and founder of *88Rising Sean Miyashiro *and* Yungblud.*
The top five finalists from each region will be chosen to perform at the *Vans Musicians Wanted* virtual concert series to be held this September 2021. Additionally regional grand prize winners will be selected to win Vans goodies, Fender gear, global music distribution, Spotify and AppleMusic playlisting and the chance to perform alongside *Yungblud* as the opening act in front of a huge live crowd in 2022.
