Charli XCX Launches New Podcast

*Charli XCX* will launch her own podcast this month through BBC Sounds.

The first season of Charli XCX’s Best Song Ever goes online from Monday (August 9th), and it features a range of guests discussing music that connects with them.

Guests lined up include some close friends and collaborators, with Charli XCX joined by the likes of Addison Rae, Beabadobee, Mark Ronson, Benny Drama, Barbie Ferreira, Ziwe, Bowen Yang, Tove Lo, Christine and the Queens, and Caroline Polachek.

Charli explains her motivation behind the project...

“The reason I wanted to do this podcast is because I love talking to people, and I love exploring the emotional connection any person can have with music. Songs that soundtrack specific moments in life can amplify and affect a moment drastically and so I wanted to explore what those moments and songs are with some of my favorite creative people.”

“In every conversation I’ve had, I’ve learnt something brand new about each guest and I feel like I’ve gotten to know each and everyone one of them a little bit more.”

Charli XCX’s Best Song Ever launches on August 9th. Her new single 'Good Ones' lands on September 3rd.
