'The Sabarmati Report' box office collection day 1

Despite backlash against 'Kanguva', 'The Sabarmati Report' starring Vikrant Massey is enjoying a strong opening weekend. The film collected Rs 1.25 crore on its first day and is projected to reach Rs 1.98 crore by Saturday evening. Although criticized as propaganda, it outperforms several recent releases but falls short of 'The Kerala Story's' success.
