Bengaluru techie, homemaker lose Rs 3.7 crore to trading frauds

In Bengaluru, a software engineer and a homemaker lost Rs 3.7 crore to cybercrooks who lured them into fraudulent investment schemes. The fraudsters promised huge returns and manipulated their victims into paying substantial fees, only to block withdrawals. Police have registered cases under relevant laws and are working with banks to freeze the fraudulent accounts.
