Badlapur encounter: Akshay Shinde was handed over to cops in ‘good condition’, jail official tells human rights body

Akshay Shinde, accused in a sexual assault case, was shot dead by police during his transfer from Taloja jail after he allegedly grabbed a police officer's revolver and fired at guards. The Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission is investigating.
