DySP held with booze, driving drunk

Suresh Somji Bamaniya, a deputy SP of the Bhachau SRP group, was arrested on November 3rd for drunk driving and possession of illegal liquor. Bamaniya, returning from his hometown after Diwali, crashed his car on the Morbi-Kutch highway. Police discovered three liters of illicit liquor in his possession, leading to charges under the Gujarat Prohibition Act and Motor Vehicle Act.
