Adani setback 2.0: Controversy dogged Andhra Pradesh contracts from the start

Current Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and other opposition parties, including the CPI, are demanding a judicial inquiry into the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) deal following allegations of bribery and corruption. They had previously challenged the purchase agreements signed in 2021 between Andhra Pradesh discoms and SECI, alleging inflated solar power prices.
