Rohtang Pass closed to traffic amid black ice concerns

Rohtang Pass, a key route linking Kullu and Lahaul valleys, has been closed to traffic owing to dropping temperatures and black ice on the road. Kullu administration has shut nearby police check-posts at Gulaba and Marhi. Similarly, Lahaul Spiti Police warned against travelling on the Manali-Leh highway. The pass will reopen next year in May or June.
