Thane man issues ‘triple talaq’ notice by post, booked

A 30-year-old man from Thane has been booked by Rabale MIDC police for using triple talaq to divorce his 28-year-old wife, which is illegal in India since 2019. The woman received a notarized divorce notice by post, and an FIR has been registered under the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act, 2019.
