World’s smallest cat makes debut in West Bengal’s wild

Bengal has discovered the world's smallest and lightest wild cat, the rusty-spotted cat, in its Purulia district. This species, considered near threatened on the IUCN Red List, was spotted for the first time in the state, adding to the region's biodiversity.
