On Feb. 21, 2023, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) held that an employer violated the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) when it offered laid-off employees severance agreements that prohibited them from making disparaging statements about the employer or disclosing the terms of their severance agreements.
