The government of Kuwait resigned on Tuesday as the political impasse in one of the largest OPEC producers deepened ahead of a vote of no-confidence in Parliament. Kuwait's Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah tendered the government's resignation today, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported. The Speaker of the Parliament, Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, said that the National Assembly had canceled Wednesday's session for the no-confidence vote after the prime minister's resignation.
