Peace in Ukraine Remains a Long Way Off

It’s been a busy Christmas season on the Russia-Ukraine front line. It’s still a stalemate, whether it becomes frozen in time this year or not will change little. This year, the war has been different, with a sustained Ukrainian counteroffensive and air strike campaigns on Russian territory on the Kyiv side, and a continual increase in aggression on the Moscow side.
