Summer Natural Gas Prices Drop in Europe

The premium of natural gas for delivery in Europe this summer over the futures prices for next winter has plunged in recent days amid milder temperatures and talks on ending the war in Ukraine. Dutch TTF Natural Gas Futures, the benchmark for Europe’s gas trading, slumped by 3.7% for the front-month contract for March as of 12:30 p.m. in Amsterdam on Wednesday.
