Serious assault, Plymouth

Police are appealing for witnesses of an unprovoked attack on a teenager outside The Ships Tavern, Plymouth, at around 9.30am on Saturday 31 October.
An 18-year-old man was punched in the face by another male causing his jaw to break, requiring metal plates to be fitted.
The assault took place at the back of the pub, pictured, which is on Arcadia Street, via a side fire exit which is used as a smoking area.
Detectives would like to hear from witnesses of the assault or anyone who was in the pub that night and can offer any information which could assist their enquiries.
