UPDATE - Murder investigation, Wembury

A second person has been charged with murder in connection with an investigation into the death of 60-year-old Stephen Fogg at an address in Wembury, Plymouth, on Thursday 17 December.

Lee Chugg, 41, from Plymouth, was charged with murder on 24 December and appeared at Plymouth Magistrates Court on 26 December and has been remanded to appear at Plymouth Crown Court on Tuesday 29 December.

Chugg was arrested at an address in the city on the evening of Monday 21 December, and received a custody extension while receiving treatment in hospital.

Jodie Swannick, 31, from no fixed abode, Plymouth, has also been charged with murder in connection with the investigation into Stephen’s death and appeared at Exeter Crown Court on Wednesday 23 December where she was remanded.
