Police are investigating reports of a serious assault in Leigham Park, Plymouth, which is believed to have taken place on Saturday 13 March, at around 2.30pm.

The victim, a girl, aged 12, was reported to have been assaulted by two girls and suffered injuries to her arm and face.

Officers are keen to speak to a woman who was walking a medium-sized white dog, who escorted the victim back to her home but left without leaving any contact details.
