Serious collision, Newquay

Police are appealing for information about a serious collision on Holywell Road, near Trevornick Holiday Park, Newquay, at around 10.30pm last night, Wednesday 19 May.

The incident involved a silver Ford Focus colliding with a wall. The male driver sustained serious, potentially life-changing injuries.

Local officers and officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Team attended to conduct a forensic investigation of the scene. The road was closed for more than nine hours and police would like to thank the public for their patience.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or was in the area at the time and may have seen the vehicle prior to the incident, or anyone who has relevant dashcam footage.
