Police are appealing for witnesses of a collision between a car and a lorry on the A3122, Dartmouth, this morning, Wednesday 12 May, at 9.30am.

The collision involved a DAF 18-tonne lorry and a blue Ford Fiesta.

The driver of the Ford Fiesta, a woman in her 20s, was flown by air ambulance to Derriford Hospital where she is being treated for life-changing injuries. The lorry driver sustained minor injuries.

Local officers alongside Alliance Roads Policing Team officers attended the scene. The road was closed for six hours while an investigation was conducted and police would like to thank the public for their patience.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or was in the area at the time and has dashcam footage of the vehicles prior to the incident.
