Serious collision, Budleigh Salterton

Police are appealing for witnesses of a collision on the B3178, Budleigh Salterton, on Saturday 15 May, and dashcam footage which may have captured the vehicles involved prior to the incident.

The collision occurred at around 7pm and involved a silver Audi A3 and a red Kia Nero.

The driver of the Audi was flown to Derriford Hospital by the air ambulance where he is being treated for life-changing/life-threatening injuries.

The occupants of the Kia sustained minor injuries.

Local officers attended the scene alongside Alliance Roads Policing Team officers. The road was closed for around six hours while a forensic investigation was conducted.
