UPDATE: Police investigation, Paignton

Police are not treating the discovery of man with a head injury at address on Longmead Road, Paignton, yesterday evening, Tuesday 18 May, as suspicious.

Emergency services attended the address at around 5.30pm and a 69-year-old man was taken to Derriford Hospital by land ambulance where he is being treated for a life-threatening head injury.

Police were initially concerned he may have been assaulted, but enquiries suggest he fell and hit his head on furniture and officers are not looking for anyone in connection with the incident.
