A man has been charged in connection with the death of a woman in West Cornwall.
Police were called to an isolated address in Crowlas, near Penzance, at 7am on Tuesday 22 June following reports of a suspicious death.
The woman, now formally identified as 44-year-old Sally Poynton, was confirmed deceased at the scene.
Jacob Poynton-Whiting, 22, of Crowlas, has been charged with murder in connection to this incident.
He has also been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent on an 18-year-old man during the same incident.
Poynton-Whiting remains in police custody and is due before Truro Magistrates’ Court today [24 June].
