Appeal Over Serious Road Traffic Collision, Ring Road, Lower Wortley, Leeds

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a bus in Leeds.

The incident occurred at 11.22pm last night (16/11) on the A6110 Ring Road at Lower Wortley, just prior to the roundabout junction with Royds Lane.

A 41-year-old woman was involved in a collision with a double-decker bus that was travelling away from the Gelderd Road junction towards Wortley.

She sustained life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition in hospital.
