UPDATE: Road Traffic Collision, Hayle
A 19-year-old woman who sustained injuries following a collision in Hayle on Wednesday has died.
Police were called at approximately 3:50pm on Wednesday 17 November, following reports that a collision occurred on Fore Street, between a Land Rover Discovery and a 19-year-old woman from Redruth.
As a result of the collision, the female pedestrian was conveyed to Derriford hospital with critical injuries. She has since been confirmed deceased.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team who attended are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision or have dash camera footage to contact police on 101@dc.police.uk, quoting the log number 526 of 17 November.
