Three people have been seriously injured following a collision on the B3274 at Ruddlemoor in St Austell, which happened in the early hours of Sunday 1 May.

Officers were informed of the collision just after 1.30am which involved one vehicle. Fire and Ambulance crews were also called to the scene.

Three people are seriously injured, while another person, believed to be a man, left the scene and is currently outstanding.

MPS Tina Green of the Serious Collisions Investigation team said: “We are seeking the public’s support and assistance to identify the fourth person who left the scene. They may have suffered serious injuries, so it is vital that he is located. They will also play a key part in our ongoing enquiries.

“The road has currently been closed in both directions and will be closed for some time. We are advising the public to avoid the area.
