Arrest Made Following Serious Assault, Working Men's Club, Deighton, Huddersfield

Police investigating an incident in which a man was severely injured in Deighton have now arrested a suspect.

A 17-year-old Dewsbury male was today arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with an incident in which a man suffered severe hand injuries in an assault with a bladed weapon on Deighton Road on August 9.

The victim continues to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries following the assault which took place at about 5.27pm at a working men’s club there.
