West Yorkshire Police Officer Sentenced

A West Yorkshire Police officer has been sentenced after being convicted of domestic abuse offences.
Detective Sergeant Gareth Greenwood, 42, who works in Bradford district, was found guilty at trial of two counts of common assault.
The offences were committed whilst off duty against one victim in Baildon on 29 April, 2022. At the time of the offences DS Greenwood was a temporary Detective Inspector.
He was suspended from duty at commencement of the investigation.
