Appeal: Fatal Collision, Thornes Road, Wakefield

Police are appealing for information after a motorcycle rider tragically died following a collision in Wakefield.  

The Major Collision and Enquiry Team (MCET) is appealing for witnesses to a collision on Thornes Road on Monday (August 28) which sadly resulted in the death of a man in his 20s from Dewsbury.   

The crash occurred at 2.04pm after the rider’s Yamaha MT09 motorcycle was in collision with a telegraph post while travelling on Thornes Road towards Denby Dale Road.
