Man Charged After Serious Sexual Offence, Cleckheaton

Detectives investigating a serious sexual offence on a 19-year-old in Kirklees have charged a man. 

Adam Martin, 26 of Cleckheaton has been charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault after an incident in the grounds of Whitcliffe Cemetery, Whitcliffe Road, Cleckheaton on Thursday 7 December.  

Martin has been remanded into custody to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court on Monday 11 December.
