Murder Investigation Launched Following Death of Man, Leeds

Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in Leeds.
At about 10pm on Saturday, police were notified by the ambulance service of a man in his forties receiving medical assistance in Smithson Street, Rothwell.
The man was taken to hospital where he was sadly pronounced deceased a short time later.
Enquiries into the man’s death have established that there was a disturbance in the area prior to the man needing medical attention.
