Appeal, Serious Assault, Holmfirth

Police are appealing for witnesses as they continue to investigate a serious assault on a man in Holmfirth.

The Kirklees Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team would like to speak to anyone who witnessed or has information or footage of the offence at the Elephant and Castle Inn on Hollowgate.

The offence took place at about 11.15pm on Saturday May 11, starting inside and then continuing just outside the pub.

The suspect made off on foot after punching the male victim, who fell and was left with serious facial injuries.
