Appeal Following Affray in Halifax Town Centre

Police are appealing for witnesses after a number of people were injured following a verbal and physical altercation involving two groups in Halifax town centre.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to a man carrying a pizza who approached those involved in an attempt to calm things down but left after he was assaulted.

The incident happened between 5am and 5:15am yesterday (Sunday, 9 June) at the top of Crown Street, Halifax. It involved a group of four males and another group of two men and a woman.
