Commercial Vehicle Safety Targeted by Roads Police

Officers from West Yorkshire Police have been targeting the safety of commercial vehicles as a part of a joint operation with police colleagues and partners.  

Known as Operation Brigantia, our Roads Policing Unit officers teamed up with forces across the North East region, together with National Highways and the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) vehicle examiners to ensure lorries and vans were safely loaded and in a roadworthy condition.
