YHROCU: Man Charged with Drug Importation after 100kg Ketamine Seizure, Barnsley

A 62 year-old male from the Barnsley area has been charged with drug importation offences after officers from the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit, assisted by West Yorkshire Police, recovered 100 kilos of suspected ketamine from a vehicle in Royston, Barnsley, on Saturday (24/8).

Russell King, aged 62, of The Green, Royston, appeared before magistrates in Sheffield on Monday (26/8) where he was remanded to appear before Sheffield Crown Court on September 23rd.
